On Golden Pond
The Mount Paran Players, the same group of performers who presented Steel Magnolias last year at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, is comprised of actors under the direction of David Brayfield from Mount Paran Church, dedicated to presenting quality theatre productions as an outreach to the general public and fundraiser for MUST Ministries in Marietta
The play, made famous by the film starring Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn is a study in dysfunction and one family's struggles with what we all struggle with - age, rage, regret, love withheld, love unspoken, disappointment and, ultimately, if we're lucky, forgiveness, acceptance and renewal. Equal parts funny, emotional and downright entertaining!
