Join us for an evening of entertainment and discussion in order to raise awareness of and funds to build a Freedom Center in Kurdistan of Iraq. Developed by Global Hope, the Freedom Center will not only provide basic medical needs to the Kurdish Population, but serve as a community  recreation and education center for families of the area.
The night will include a discussion with a Heather Mercer, President of Global Hope. As co-author of “Prisoners of Hope, the Story of Our Captivity and Freedom in Afghanistan”, she has been seen on The View, Dateline, ABC and CNN. Former president George W. Bush praised described talking with Heather Mercer was an “uplifting experience”.

“Chicks, Flicks and Chocolate” features the classic southern film Fried Green Tomatoes (PG-13).
The 1991 film recounts the life of a housewife who develops an unlikely friendship with an older woman in a local nursing home. She escapes the troubles of her own life by absorbing herself with the old lady’s tales of people she used to know.

Tickets include admission to the film, a dessert reception on the theatre’s rooftop terrace and an alcoholic beverage.

The show begins at 7pm, the organ pre-show begins at 7:30pm and tickets are $15.
