PARADOCS: Rock’n at the Strand Trilogy
Marietta, GA (January 29, 2009) — PARADOCS, a rock band that raised $15,000 for Strand renovations in 2008, will perform on the stage they helped build this February!
"It will be an honor to play another benefit in the beautiful new Earl Smith Strand Theatre," said band member Joe Havlik, M.D., an infectious disease specialist. "We have been very excited to share our music and be a small part of the Strand renovation. Our supporters will see their money well invested in a great community asset."
Medical personnel and Wellstar staff by day and rock stars by night, PARADOCS rock as well as they work with patients. Their specialty: new & classic rock, southern rock, country, and blues favorites, including Lady Marmalade, Old Time Rock’N’Roll, Livin’ for the City, Get Ready, and Last Name, a recent hit by Carrie Underwood.
"It has been an awesome experience to have been a small part of helping to make the Earl Smith Strand Theatre a reality for our community," said band member Larry Clements, MD. “We are really looking forward to our upcoming show, our first performance in the Strand. We ask our fans to turn out one more time and see for themselves what a great home this is for this and for future concerts."
PARADOCS musicians include Larry Clements, M.D., Joseph Havlik, M.D., David Dasinger, George Mitchell, R.N., Donnie Adams, R.N., Caroline Kulinski, Steve Wright, Laura Wright, and Sid Beasley.
The concert is on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 8 PM. Doors open at 7.
