Facility/Maintenance Staff
The Maintenance Staff helps to preserve the physical state of this beautiful art deco theatre from 1935. Members are self-motivated and well-versed in drywall repairs, painting, carpet cleaning, tile repair. Light plumbing and electric experience are very beneficial. Approximately 20 hours/week. Payment begins at $9/Hr.

INTERNSHIPS ('12-13 Year)
Interning at The Strand is about getting hands on experience with arts administration and getting a firm knowledge and inside look on what it takes to run an arts organization. Interns at both the high school and college level spend 10+ a week at The Strand for 4 months to a year in the departments of Marketing, Education, Technical Theater, and Arts Adminitration. Marietta's Strand Theatre is hosting its 3rd Student Works Festival to showcase some of the most talented student artists in middle and high school. We're talking short videos, music, paintings, photography, playwriting, slam poetry, dance, and more. If you created it and it's 100% yours, we're interested!.
